Enjoy a spectacular scenic flight over the famous Remarkables mountain range and shimmering Lake Wakatipu before touching down on this remote high country farm for a once-in-a-lifetime hike.
Your experience begins as we transport you to your privately chartered helicopter at Queenstown Airport. Enjoy a scenic flight as we soar over spectacular mountain vistas and turquoise lakes before landing on the station.
From here, we begin our unique hiking experience on a 11,000 hectare sheep and cattle farm that spans from the Hector Range to the Nevis River.
Alpine Luxury Tours has partnered with Loch Linnhe Station to provide this unique and exclusive heli hike experience that allows you to wander through spectacular alpine landscapes amongst cascading waterfalls with no other tourists in sight.
Enjoy exploring vast mountain vistas as your personal guide explains the rich history of the station, pointing out local flora and fauna along the way. Local birdlife includes the kea, the world’s only alpine parrot, and our native wood pigeon the kererū as well as spot some of the station’s cattle and wild deer.
Learn about the rich history and current farming practices of the station as we make our way back along the trail to meet your private helicopter and descend towards Queenstown.
