Your private guide will collect you in our luxury vehicle from your accommodation and take to you your private helicopter for an unforgettable flight to Milford Sound.
Rudyard Kipling called Milford Sound the ‘eighth wonder of the world’ and World Heritage status confirming its unique beauty.
Your scenic flight will take you above rainforest-covered valleys, past spectacular alpine lakes and mountain ranges, with a bird’s eye view of the stunning and world-famous Fiordland National Park.
You’ll land high up on Mt Tutoko, the highest mountain in Fiordland National Park, and get out to take photos in the snow with 360-degree views.
Middle Earth Waterfalls is our next destination, where we’ll fly past the epic blue ice of a hanging glacier before descending over 1000m to the valley floor.
In this pristine location, we’ll embark on a 1.5-hour heli hiking adventure, taking time to enjoy a beautiful picnic lunch and glass of wine in this idyllic spot amongst the waterfalls.
Suitably relaxed and feeling at one with nature, you’ll head back to Queenstown airport, passing over the Richardson mountain range as you hear about its rich mining history.
