Your personal guide will transport you through picturesque Kawarau Gorge in the comfort of our Land Rover Discovery or Mercedes van to Bannockburn, the heart of the Central Otago wine region.
Immerse your senses in a wine tasting at one of Bannockburn’s top wineries, Mt Difficulty, perched high on the famed Felton Road. Choosing to indulge at their Winery Restaurant for lunch will let you savour their locally-sourced menu while enjoying dramatic views overlooking Lake Dunstan and the Cromwell basin.
You will then venture into the Gibbston Valley wine region; known as the ‘Valley of the Vines’, nestled between rugged schist mountains and the rocky Kawarau River gorge. Here we delight in more world-class Pinot Noir at some of the best wineries and cellar doors in the region.
Following the conclusion of your final tasting, you will be transported back to your accomodation.
