Begin your adventure with a personal pick up from your hotel in the comfort of a luxury Mercedes vehicle. Enjoy constantly evolving landscapes from windswept alpine plains and spectacular vineyards to vast mountain peaks and plunging gorges. Arrive in the historic settlement of Arrowtown.
You then start your biking journey through the historic cobble-stoned streets of Arrowtown, a charming gold rush township with a vivid history. Follow the Arrow River, crossing back and forth over bridges, before entering the Kawarau Gorge. Next, we visit the world’s home of bungy jumping, proudly sitting at the gateway to the Gibbston wine region. Every part of this biking trail boasts gorgeous views and iconic structures.
Then make your way along the trail, nestled between rugged schist mountains and the rocky Kawarau River Gorge. Here we’ll stop and taste world-class pinot noir at some of the best wineries and cellar doors in the region. Rest and relax at some of Gibbston Valley’s well-known wineries, and enjoy lunch alongside a wine tasting, a well-deserved treat after your morning bike ride!
Conclude your Bike and Wine tour by Mercedes, vehicle returning to your Queenstown accommodation.
