Begin your day at Mora Wines, a place of true indulgence and enjoyable wines. Settle in the garden or inside the cellar door, where your host will guide you through Mora’s Whites, Roses and Reds. Their knowledgeable staff will explain all about the different wine regions and where the wine your drinking comes from.
Your personal guide will then transport you through picturesque Queenstown landscapes to the Gibbston Valley wine region -known as the ‘Valley of the Vines’ for an afternoon of relaxation and indulgence. Nestled between rugged schist mountains and the rocky Kawarau River gorge, the region is renowned for world-class Pinot Noir and breathtaking vistas.
The Church Cellar door, offers a beautiful tasting of Mt Edward wines, with a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll discover their exceptional Pinot Noirs and aromatic white wines.
Following this, guests on half day tours will then begin the scenic drive back to Queenstown. Those on full day tours will continue to visit some of the best wineries and cellar doors in the region. Here they can sample diverse tasting lists, indulge in a winery lunch or sit back to enjoy an artisanal cheese board.

A relaxed, rural setting nestled amidst rows of vines, surrounded by hillsides dotted with wild herbs and dramatic mountain landscapes. Delicious locally sourced fare to complement the wines and the views…and the good jokes!
