Your personal local guide will pick you up from your Queenstown accommodation and whisk you away in the comfort of your own private Mercedes vehicle. Enjoy constantly evolving landscapes, from windswept alpine plains and turquoise lakes to vast mountain peaks and lovely lakeside towns. Skip the crowds and never miss a photo opportunity with the flexibility to stop, step out of the car and breathe in the crisp mountain air and crystal-clear lake waters as you arrive in Te Anau – the gateway to Fiordland.
You will then experience two very different adventures of jet boating and a working farm tour, before being returned by your private luxury vehicle to your accommodation. There is also the option to extend your trip to enjoy an overnight Farm Stay with the option to combine this tour with one of our Private Milford Sound Tours the following day.
Your day continues with a 2-hour interactive, immersive and FUN jet boat tour down the Upper Waiau River to Lake Manapouri. Sit back and relax as you gaze in wonder at the incredible scenery of Fiordland National Park as you speed over the water. Your tour includes a local, knowledgeable driver/guide and a short stroll on the Kepler Track, surrounded by native beech forest. This jet boat tour is suitable for all ages!
Get an authentic taste of the real New Zealand Southland farm life with a classic Kiwi cuppa, sheep shearing demonstration, and the chance to encounter friendly farm animals. Hear about the fascinating history and current state of farming from your guide. This is a fun and insightful tour.
Experience a truly unique and authentically Kiwi farm tour among the lush Southland landscape. This 3,000 acre dairy, beef and sheep farm has little of everything and has options for getting as “hands-on” as desired. You will stay on the farm in comfortable guest accommodation and wake to the sounds of nature the next morning. This experience is then topped off with a farm lunch at the homestead, with breathtaking views of the Takitimu Mountain Range.
Guests are welcome to stay 1 or 2 nights, perhaps choosing one of our Private Milford Sound Tours or a Milford Sound and Waterfalls Helicopter Tour before leaving Fiordland.
